1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Jesus in Five ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is provided by Five Castles LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
2. Description of Service
The App is a digital companion to the Jesus in Five physical journal. It provides daily reflection prompts, progress tracking, spiritual content, optional artificial intelligence features, and curated devotional music playlist recommendations linked to external services such as Spotify. The App complements but does not replace the physical journal.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm you are 16 years of age or older. We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly process personal information from children under 13.
4. Journal Activation Code
Each Jesus in Five physical journal includes a unique activation code. This code unlocks 6 months of access to the full 26-week content in the App. Codes are single-use and non-transferable. Without a valid code, you may also activate access via a paid subscription (see Section 5).
5. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal
Premium subscriptions are available at $19.99 USD per 6 months (price subject to local taxes). Subscriptions may include a free trial period of up to 3 days at initial purchase.
Subscriptions are processed by the app store from which you downloaded the App — the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on iOS; Google Play > Payments & subscriptions on Android).
Refund requests are handled by the store that processed your purchase: for Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, through the Play Store's refund process (play.google.com or the Play Store app). We cannot issue refunds directly for store-processed purchases.
When a subscription expires without renewing, your account enters read-only state: you may view past content but cannot create new entries until you renew or activate a journal code.
US RECURRING BILLING DISCLOSURES: We comply with the federal Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA), California's Automatic Renewal Law (Bus. & Prof. Code §17600 et seq.), the FTC's negative-option marketing rules, and the FTC's Click-to-Cancel rule. You consented to auto-renewal at the point of purchase; you may cancel as easily as you signed up via your device's subscription settings.
EU 14-DAY WITHDRAWAL: If you reside in the European Union, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts under Directive 2011/83/EU. EXCEPTION: under Article 16(m), you waive this right when you receive digital content (such as activating premium AI features or accessing devotional content) before the 14-day period ends. By starting use of the premium features, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge loss of the withdrawal right for content already consumed.
6. Your Content and AI Processing
Your reflections, notes, and journal entries belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. You retain the right to export or delete your data at any time.
When you use AI features (Reflection, Burden Advice), the relevant portions of your entry are processed via Anthropic Claude. Under Anthropic's default API terms, this data may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deletion. Anthropic does not use this data to train their models. See Privacy Policy for details.
AI TRANSPARENCY DISCLOSURE: AI-generated content within the App is clearly and conspicuously labeled as 'AI-generated' or 'For personal inspiration only' in compliance with California Business and Professions Code §17940 and the EU AI Act's transparency obligations for limited-risk AI systems (Article 50). You will always know when you are reading content produced by an AI model rather than written by a human author.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
• Share your activation code with others
• Attempt to access other users' accounts
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in a manner that infringes third-party rights
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App
• Resell, redistribute, or copy App content
• Use bots or automation to interact with the App
• Upload content that violates applicable laws or intellectual property rights
8. Spiritual Content and Limitations
The App provides spiritual reflection content based on Christian scriptures. This content is devotional in nature and is NOT a substitute for:
• Professional pastoral counsel
• Mental health or counseling services
• Medical or psychological treatment
• Legal, financial, or professional advice

AI-generated responses in the App are algorithmically generated devotional suggestions and do not constitute personalized advice of any kind.
9. Intellectual Property
"Jesus in Five" is a trademark filed with the USPTO under Five Castles LLC (serial #99767730). App content, including devotional text, prompts, verse sequence, the 5-pillar system, illustrations, code, and design, is protected by copyright: Copyright © 2026 Five Castles LLC. All rights reserved. Biblical texts belong to their respective rights holders (NIV: Biblica Inc.; NVI: Biblica Inc.) and are used under license.
10. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. The App requires an internet connection for synchronization; it works offline partially for entry writing.
ACCESSIBILITY: We are committed to making the App usable by people with disabilities. Our aspirational target is conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The App supports dynamic font sizing, VoiceOver/TalkBack screen readers, and high-contrast colors. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact support@jesusinfive.com so we can address them.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIVE CASTLES LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FIVE CASTLES LLC IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Five Castles LLC, its officers, employees, and agents, from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your use of the App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
16. Apple App Store Agreement
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:
• These Terms are between you and Five Castles LLC only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App.
• In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, who will refund the purchase price; no other liability rests with Apple.
• Apple is not responsible for claims relating to warranties, product liability, or legal/regulatory compliance.
• Third-party intellectual property claims: if a third party claims infringement by the App, Five Castles LLC (not Apple) is responsible for investigating and resolving the claim.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
17. General Provisions
SEVERABILITY: If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Five Castles LLC regarding your use of the App.
NO WAIVER: Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of such right.
ASSIGNMENT: You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may freely assign them.
FORCE MAJEURE: We shall not be liable for any delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (natural disasters, government actions, third-party internet failures, etc.).

1. Aceptación de términos
Al usar Jesus in Five ("la App"), aceptas estos Términos de Servicio. Si no estás de acuerdo, no uses la App. La App es proporcionada por Five Castles LLC, una sociedad de responsabilidad limitada de Wyoming, Estados Unidos.
2. Descripción del servicio
La App es un compañero digital para el diario físico Jesus in Five. Proporciona guías de reflexión diaria, seguimiento de progreso, contenido espiritual, funciones opcionales de inteligencia artificial y recomendaciones de listas de reproducción musical devocional enlazadas a servicios externos como Spotify. La App complementa pero no reemplaza el diario físico.
3. Cuentas de usuario
Debes crear una cuenta para usar la App. Eres responsable de mantener la confidencialidad de tu contraseña y de todas las actividades bajo tu cuenta. Debes tener al menos 16 años para crear una cuenta. Al crear una cuenta, confirmas que tienes 16 años o más. Cumplimos con la Ley de Protección de la Privacidad de los Niños en Internet de EE.UU. (COPPA) y no procesamos a sabiendas información personal de niños menores de 13 años.
4. Código de activación del diario
Cada diario físico Jesus in Five incluye un código de activación único. Este código desbloquea acceso por 6 meses al contenido completo de las 26 semanas en la App. Los códigos son de un solo uso y no son transferibles. Sin un código válido, también puedes activar acceso mediante una suscripción de pago (ver Sección 5).
5. Suscripciones y renovación automática
Las suscripciones premium están disponibles a $19.99 USD por 6 meses (precio sujeto a impuestos locales). Las suscripciones pueden incluir un período de prueba gratuita de hasta 3 días al momento de la compra inicial.
Las suscripciones se procesan a través de la tienda desde la que descargaste la App — el Apple App Store o Google Play. El pago se carga a tu Apple ID o a tu cuenta de Google. Las suscripciones se renuevan automáticamente salvo que canceles al menos 24 horas antes del final del período vigente. Puedes gestionar o cancelar tu suscripción en los ajustes de suscripciones de tu dispositivo (Ajustes > Apple ID > Suscripciones en iOS; Google Play > Pagos y suscripciones en Android).
Las solicitudes de reembolso las gestiona la tienda que procesó tu compra: para Apple, en reportaproblem.apple.com; para Google Play, mediante el proceso de reembolso de Play Store (play.google.com o la app de Play Store). No podemos emitir reembolsos directamente por compras procesadas por las tiendas.
Al expirar la suscripción sin renovarse, tu cuenta pasa a estado de solo lectura: puedes ver contenido pasado pero no generar nuevas entradas hasta renovar o activar un código de diario.
DIVULGACIONES DE FACTURACIÓN RECURRENTE EE.UU.: Cumplimos con la ley federal Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA), la Ley de Renovación Automática de California (Bus. & Prof. Code §17600 et seq.), las reglas de marketing de opción-negativa de la FTC y la regla Click-to-Cancel de la FTC. Has dado consentimiento a la renovación automática en el momento de compra; puedes cancelar tan fácilmente como te suscribiste vía los ajustes de suscripción de tu dispositivo.
DERECHO DE DESISTIMIENTO UE 14 DÍAS: Si resides en la Unión Europea, generalmente tienes un derecho de desistimiento de 14 días para contratos a distancia bajo la Directiva 2011/83/UE. EXCEPCIÓN: bajo el Artículo 16(m), renuncias a este derecho cuando recibes contenido digital (como activar funciones premium de IA o acceder a contenido devocional) antes de que finalice el período de 14 días. 6. Tu contenido y procesamiento por IA
Tus reflexiones, notas y entradas de diario son tuyas. No reclamamos propiedad sobre tu contenido. Conservas el derecho a exportar o eliminar tus datos en cualquier momento.
Cuando uses funciones de IA (Reflexión, Consejo de Carga), las porciones relevantes de tu entrada se procesan vía Anthropic Claude. Bajo los términos predeterminados de la API de Anthropic, estos datos pueden retenerse hasta 30 días para monitoreo de abuso antes de eliminarse. Anthropic no usa estos datos para entrenar sus modelos. Ver Política de Privacidad para detalles.
DIVULGACIÓN DE TRANSPARENCIA DE IA: El contenido generado por IA dentro de la App se etiqueta clara y visiblemente como 'Generado por IA' o 'Solo para inspiración personal' en cumplimiento de California Business and Professions Code §17940 y las obligaciones de transparencia del Reglamento de IA de la UE para sistemas de IA de riesgo limitado (Artículo 50). 7. Uso aceptable
Aceptas no:

• Realizar ingeniería inversa, descompilar o intentar derivar el código fuente de la App
• Revender, redistribuir o copiar el contenido de la App
• Usar bots o automatización para interactuar con la App
• Subir contenido que viole leyes aplicables o derechos de propiedad intelectual
8. Contenido espiritual y limitaciones
La App proporciona contenido de reflexión espiritual basado en las Escrituras cristianas. Este contenido es de naturaleza devocional y NO sustituye:
• El consejo pastoral profesional
• Servicios de salud mental o consejería
• Tratamiento médico o psicológico
• Asesoramiento legal, financiero o profesional
Si estás experimentando una crisis de salud mental o pensamientos de autolesión, busca ayuda profesional de inmediato:
• Estados Unidos: llama o envía mensaje al 988 (Línea de Crisis y Suicidio 988)
• Fuera de Estados Unidos: contacta a los servicios de emergencia locales
Las respuestas generadas por IA en la App son sugerencias devocionales generadas algorítmicamente y no constituyen consejo personalizado de ningún tipo.

10. Disponibilidad del servicio
Nos esforzamos por mantener la App disponible en todo momento, pero no garantizamos un servicio ininterrumpido. Podemos realizar mantenimiento, actualizaciones o cambios que temporalmente afecten la disponibilidad. La App requiere conexión a internet para sincronización; funciona offline parcialmente para escribir entradas.
ACCESIBILIDAD: Estamos comprometidos a hacer que la App sea utilizable por personas con discapacidades. Nuestro objetivo aspiracional es el cumplimiento de las Pautas de Accesibilidad para el Contenido Web (WCAG) 2.1 Nivel AA. 12. Limitación de responsabilidad
EN LA MÁXIMA MEDIDA PERMITIDA POR LA LEY, FIVE CASTLES LLC NO SERÁ RESPONSABLE POR DAÑOS INDIRECTOS, INCIDENTALES, ESPECIALES, CONSECUENTES O PUNITIVOS, NI POR PÉRDIDA DE BENEFICIOS, DATOS O REPUTACIÓN, QUE SURJAN DE O ESTÉN RELACIONADOS CON TU USO DE LA APP. 13. Indemnización
Aceptas indemnizar y eximir de responsabilidad a Five Castles LLC, sus directores, empleados y agentes, de cualquier reclamo, daño, obligación, pérdida, responsabilidad, costo o deuda, y gastos (incluyendo honorarios de abogado) que surjan de: (a) tu uso de la App; (b) tu violación de estos Términos; (c) tu violación de derechos de terceros.
14. Cambios a los términos
Podemos actualizar estos términos. Te notificaremos de cambios materiales a través de la App o por correo electrónico al menos 30 días antes de que entren en vigor. El uso continuado de la App después de los cambios constituye aceptación.
15. Ley aplicable y jurisdicción
Estos términos se rigen por las leyes del Estado de Wyoming, Estados Unidos, sin considerar conflictos de principios de leyes. Cualquier disputa que surja de estos términos se resolverá en los tribunales estatales o federales ubicados en el Condado de Sheridan, Wyoming, y aceptas la jurisdicción personal de dichos tribunales.
16. Acuerdo de Apple App Store
Si descargaste la App desde el Apple App Store, reconoces que:
